- What I built
- An Arabic public site for the association’s work, and a back office where a super-admin grants each staff member their own modules — so the news editor edits news and nothing else.
- The result
- The association publishes everything itself across sixteen modules, and volunteering and donations arrive as reviewable requests instead of messages.
The project
A full web presence for the association: news, activities, initiatives, projects, publications, fatwas and consultations, affiliated institutions, and a branches directory filterable by wilaya with an interactive map. Visitors can apply to volunteer, submit a donation with proof of payment, contact the association, and subscribe to the newsletter.
How it’s built
The public site is Next.js — server-rendered, right-to-left Arabic, built for SEO. The back office is a separate React application on a NestJS API. A super-admin creates staff accounts and grants per-module permissions with simple checkboxes, so each admin controls only their own section.
- Granular permissions per module: news, activities, initiatives, projects, branches, messages, requests.
- Statistics dashboard covering content, volunteer requests, donations, messages, and subscribers.
- Site-content editor: hero, statistics, president’s word, and donation account details are all editable by admins — no developer needed.
- Volunteer and donation pipelines land as reviewable requests in the back office.
The outcome
Delivered at Sadeem Informatique with me leading the developers team. The association now publishes and manages everything centrally, and the site is live at irchedandislah.org.
